I Need a Rehab
For the past few weeks, changes have occurred to my lunch time routine. I stopped going out for a walk in the mall. There is always something that I feel more like doing at the moment -- writing emails, chatting on the phone, blogging and surfing... It makes it difficult to pull myself up and bring myself out. Along with the laziness, I started eating my lunch at my desk. I used to have a lunch menu of several items that I rotated for years:
Mexican Chicken Salad
Currie Chechen & Cooked Veggie
Taco Bell Hard Taco Supreme
Teriyaki Pork & Shrimp Platter
Beef & Broccoli Stir Fry
Kong Pao Chicken
Tuna Salad
... ...
It's not that I don't like the food. It's because I am lazy. Because of my new tolerance towards carb, now I can just quickly run downstairs and grab a whole wheat sandwich or something and come right back to my desk. If somebody can do this for me, I won't even want to move.
Another related change, I got hooked up with Tim Horton's coffee. I didn't have to have Tim's before. I sometimes could have tea instead. Now my breakfast regular became whole wheat honey bagel with herb garlic cream cheese. My lunch frequent became Ham & Swiss whole wheat Sandwich, also from the Tim Horton. As it turns out, sometimes I have two meals from this Tim Horton across the street... And I have to refrain myself from getting another coffee...
I am very proud of myself for keeping a 108 lb body inside a 5'4" frame, fit and healthy. These problems are huge already in my world. I am my own dietician and disciplinarian. And I love, love, love food... Have to nip it in the bud as soon as I see some tendency. Have to get out for an hour of walk and return to my rotating menu.

The Tim's .. and the sandwiches.. and not willing to go out.. and take a walk.. ;)
I blame it on my spouse.. for i donch even have to go get them myself.. he would.. or the employees would.. i spoilt..!! hehhe!!
But i'm eating udon now.. ;) i cooked them.. ;) heheh!!
