Friends from Far

Went to pick up Nancy and her son 10-Max arriving from Beijing. Nancy went to graduate school with me in Canada. After she returned to China, she has always be coming to visit every other year bringing her son along. It's so good to see them. And I was amazed at how Max has grown into such a fine young man. And they felt the same way towards Sienna. She quickly warmed up to them this time around. Daddy could have taken Sienna to a party. But she decided to come with us at a family restaurant called Pickle Barrel.

We had a lot of catching up to do. On Tuesday, they are going to spend a couple of days at Niagara Falls where I booked a hotel for them with a full falls view. They will go back to Science Center for a visit on Thursday and then leave for Montreal on Friday. And that's when my other aunt, my mother's cousin's family will be coming in town from Pittsburgh for a visit. The guest quater of our house has been fully booked for a the summer, huh?
