Mid-day Escape

Julie came to pick me up over the lunch hour for a little visit to her house. She had the walls painted throughout the house. An interior designer helped her with the color schemes and purchase of the additional furniture. It made a world of difference after all the money and effort they put in. Although, it’s debatable about if and to what extend we should utilize an interior designer's service.

I chose to stay at the house for lunch. So she made stir-fry broccoli & shrimp and steak. That was again a huge effort on her part as she usually doesn't cook. Such a home-made meal in a cozy home was completely a luxury for me -- a splendid mid-day escape. Just hope the smell of the cooking didn’t take over that of the fresh paint.
