Carrefour, We Don't Care, for Now
I can see the Carrefour's building and parking lot from our "box house". Our apartment is filled with items I bought from Carrefour. I stopped going to Carrefour and this is how I explained to my 13-year-old friend Rachel:
Some French people tried to extinguish the Olympic torch when it was carried through in Paris. Chinese are pissed. Carrefour is owned by French and is believed to have donate money to Tibetans who are trying to break away from China... So millions of people in China are urging each other to stay away from Carrefour and not to carry LV hangbags, except the fake ones, of course. It's some political games that adults play, naive but humane.

all tibetans from europe gathered in Paris the day the demonstration happened. They had the right to protest. and their community did so everywhere in the world, in san francisco, in new dehli, ...
I don't see the link between the 'free Tibet' demonstrations and a french store. What is this joke?
