the Surprise of the Year

I took Sienna to the airport in the evening, telling her that we were picking up Thea and her Mom who have been making side trips outside Beijing. When big sister Rachel showed up, Sienna’s mouth dropped. We had tried to keep it as a top secret about Rachel’s coming. And here she came. Never seen a cuter pea coat on anyone else. Very cool on her. Kudos to her! 13 years old and ten thousands of miles away across the land and ocean, all by herself. And she will also travel to see two sets of her grandparents in two different locations in China.
