a little leader not keen on leading

sienna doesn't give an impression of a leader type. she is shy and quiet. but watch out more.

we had dinner for 6 saturday night, sienna would make sure that everybody get salad dressing, bread, napkins, this and that. everything is under her control without much effort.

on another occasion over the new year's holiday, an uncle wanted her to beg from him in a certain way for her favorite peanuts. so she did, a few peanuts at a time. she was so happy. but she didn't comsume them herself. every time she would turn around and distribute them to each of us who were sitting around watching tv and chatting.

we had 9-year-old rachel over for the whole weekend. when rachel practiced piano, sienna sat snacking on her cheerio, flipping the books and listening -- yes, the whole hour. the next day, when rachel decided to play violin, sienna ran to get her the music book in the green bag at her request. she helped rachel to set up the music stand. while i was wondering what i was going to do with sienna, sienna proposed to herself, "i'm gonna to dance." then she started to clean up the dancing floor for herself. after rachel was done, sienna said, "my turn now." we tried to convince her that she could not play the violin. it was too big for her size. easily, she was convinced.

i think sienna could very well be a leader who is not particularly keen on leading but is willing to coordinate and co-operate. well, that's just a mother's accessment.
