Sienna Has a Loud Mommy

Perhaps there IS something different in my vocal cord. Sometimes a random positioning gives out such a volumn even when I least intend to.

This afternoon, I scared the hell out of a guy at the office simply by calling out his name. His face turned red. I am pretty sure it was my loud voice and not him being caught doing something. Much embarrased, I explained to him, "you might not be aware of this. I am taking singing lessons, you know?"

Last week attending the art expo in New York, my friend and I were sitting at the far back corner of a restaurant. I went up to the front counter to get a side dish. I uttered something like, "Miss, I'd like to pay..." All the people in the restaurant turned their heads on me. I couldn't believe that was the reaction from my loud speaker voice... but my friend ran all the way up to tell me just that.

Believe me, I understand a loud voice doesn't make a good singing voice. That's why I am taking singing lessons only to give myself a better reason when I am loud and embarrassed.
