Party at Our House

We were invited to another party at another house today. After yesterday’s get together, going to another party will make me feel guilty unless I host the party myself. Having no obligation to work during the weekdays, I should the one to work on the weekend party and do the cleaning up afterwards. Especially, that little work is always such a piece of cake for me. So, sometime around the noon, I successfully persuaded original host to have party transferred to our house.

First I took Rachel and Sienna to catch a 1:30 movie “Hairspray.” I think Americans are at their best when it comes to musicals. The movie is not quite a knock out though. The sweet Zac Efron from High School Musical is way too creamy in the movie. Anyways, we survived our lunch on the popcorn and ate afterwards at the food court. We even went to get Sienna a pair of Geox light-up running shoes. At 4:30, we dropped off Rachel at her ballet class. Sienna and I went to a nearby grocery store to get 5 lobsters and all the supplies for making egg rolls. At around 5:15, we got home and I started making 50 egg rolls. Sienna helped me peel off the wrappers one by one. At around 7pm, friends started arriving with their share of the food. That’s how a party of 15 people was put together. If I really want to complain, I won’t know where to start.
