Pre-teen Syndrome I

“You cannot have the candy before you have dinner.”

“Mommy, you make my life miserable. I am going to take my camera and start packing. I will go to Mexico and never come back.”

A few moments later at the dinner table, I relayed our conversation to Daddy.

“Did you get your plane ticket yet?”Asked Daddy

“No. You will have to get it for me.”

“When you go to Mexico, I am coming with you,” said I.

“Mommy, I was only joking. I love you. I never want to leave you.”
