the Grand Piano Teacher

We had dinner with Rachel’s grandmother, Sienna’s piano teacher’s mother. Let’s called her the Grand Piano Teacher. A great pianist herself, she raised and taught three pianists in the family. Those three kids all went to the best music conservatories in the country. Sienna had the luck to begin her lesson from one of them, Rachel’s mother in Toronto. Tonight, with the Grand Piano Teacher's introduction, Sienna will be learning from Rachel’s aunt, who lives nearby in Beijing. Sienna doesn’t know just how blessed she is.

On another note, Sienna made a card, put it in an envelope. On the envelope, she wrote “To Rachel, From Sienna.” Then she gave me an instruction, “Put a stamp and send it out.” In her mind, the whole world must have informed about the friendship between that Rachel and this Sienna.
