Japan Trip Day 3

We set out to the train station heading for Hakone, a hot spring resort town. After 4 and half hours and 4 transfers, we arrived at our destination where we met up with our friends, a couple and their 5 year old daughter. We were going to stay in this unique Ryokan style hotel that provide you with food, tatami-matted room and hot spring bath. Back in Canada, they couldn’t persuade us to go camping with them. We would drive a couple of hours to visit their camp site and came back home to sleep in our own bed. Finally now, when I asked to tag along with them for part of their trip in Japan, we were settled for our floor sleeping experience voluntarily.
