Coffee Talk

On the way to pick up Rachel for her Tea Kwon Do promotional test, I got two cups at Tim Horton's drive through: one for her mother, my friend Yiga, one for myself. When we were nearly their house, Sienna asked from back seat of the car, "Mommy, Does Uncle Ray drink coffee?" "Yes," I answered matter-of-factly. "Why didnpt you get him a cup of coffee?" Sienna followed her train of thoughts… So I had to explain to her the Uncle Ray was not home, meaning I didn’t mistreat him by buying coffee for his wife only.

Now I understand, the reason why Sienna doesn't ask many questions is because she tries to find a lot of answers herself. She must have been thinking about the second question all along for several blocks before she asked me her first question.
