Messiah Mess

We went to a Christmas concert hosted by a music school whose services we were considering for Sienna. They were doing Handel's Messiah with a line-up of baritone, tenor and soprano and mezzo-soprano. But I guess you cannot just do any music anywhere. At the end of it, a few kids around Sienna’s age went upstage doing lousy "jingle bell" tones. We probably raised our expectation a bit too high when we rushed out for the evening...

To me, the highlight of the evening, if there was any, came around the lucky draw time. The head of the school announced a draw, "Yammy!" Then she added, "Yammy is my secretary. She is not here. She is setting up the food for everybody."

Seriously, I would rather have some food, anywhere else.
