A Week of Parties
At a birthday/Valentine’s day party last night, we met a sixty-something else old man, the host family’s relative. He is an engineer-turned lawyer, highly private but full of personalities. His birthday is on the same day as Sienna’s and a few days apart from Daddy’s. Moreover, his wife’s birthday is the same day as mine. Not surprising if you are someone interested in astrology, you would have heard a lot about Pisces/Scorpio’s legendary unions. Their son is however a very different animal than the couple. I did charts for them and explained a lot of things that they have been searching answers for. Sometimes a kid became a problem kid because he has very different natal set up than the parents... I am pretty much a hot item at a party because of my chart reading skills.
This has been particularly busy party week. First, Friday night, we went for Rachel’s birthday party with a Sponge Bob theme. I kind of got a hint from her, so she got a iPod Shuffle from us. Saturday afternoon, Sienna went for her little friends’ dinosaurs-theme birthday party. I rushed to get her back because our psychiatrist’s & lawyer friends drop by to say "hi" and really want to see Sienna. The same night, we had friends over. Sunday we went for a gathering in the evening. Before that, Paula, the historian, and her daughter Thea came to visit. We had a break Monday night, I think.
None of us is a party goer type. Sienna is not a natural people person. Daddy works day and night on his own without complaining about the loneness. I have long claimed that house arrest would not be a punishment for me... The whole family are home buddies to each other. Somehow these parties become a good balance in our life. Daddy believe that it totally plays to a child’s benefit if s/he grows up surrounded by all kinds of people. I happen to agree with him.
In a secure environment, along with us, Sienna have met all kinds of people imaginable -- Musicians, magicians, world renown writers, photographer who photograph our prime minister and governor general, business tycoons, doctors, factory workers, baker empire’s heir and someone on bail waiting for trail... For me, just perfect to read people’s charts and getting to know different lives without having to have my life disturbed.
