Major Clean Up

It's not because it's spring clean-up time. We've simply come to a point where we couldn't go on without having one. The room that I turned into my study or my sanctuary after three year's vacancy had become a chaotic storage space, three month's into it's use. I finally got to it yesterday.

A lot things got packed into boxes and placed inside the closet. I have a feeling - this event is historical. Floppy disks, for example, might be put away forever. I will need a major commitment to scan in all the print photos and say "good bye" to them as well. On the desk that stretch the whole width of the room, there are a semi-antique typewriter, a formal desk top PC and a sleek iBook - a display of history in progress!

I also cleaned up our car's interior. Every time when someone got close to our car, we explained, "Look at the mess. What a mess with a kid!" I want to say that was not a fair statement for Sienna. In fact, I dug out 4 empty Tim Horton coffee cups in the piles of garbage on, around and under the seats. It's unbelievable how untidy we could get while I can be so organized and clean and neat, like now. At the end of the day. It was a mission well accomplished.
