Milestone -- Making of a Cool Kid
On the day Sienna turned 6 months old, there were 2 milestones to remember. First up, she started to sit up -- considered to be late but nevertheless. Second, a white spot on her gum clearly showed the coming of her first tooth. I jumped with joys.
As she grows, milestones are not as obvious. I am still thrilled though once in a while by her progress in one thing or another. Right now, for example, as soon as Sienna turned 5 years old, she started to snap her fingers and do the whistling! I am so proud of her.
She sat up and her first tooth sprouted out -- all nature's work. But it took a lot of practice for her to snap and whistle. She worked diligently for a long time so that she could finally make those snapping and whistling sounds. I consider these more of milestones in making of a cook kid, if you would.
