Morning Encounter

October 2005 was the last time we saw this friend J. We never spoke since. Yesterday afternoon, I was prompted for the first time to call him so that I could give him an update about us. Yet I didn't reach him at work.

This morning, I had to take our car in for two recalls and a number of services. In order to get the car back before the end of the day, I dropped Sienna early and raced to be the first customer at the dealership. There was one other costumer before me though. And that was J whom we didn't see for a year and I called yesterday. The dealership dispatched a brand new car to shuttle just two of us downtown. On the road, I got to give him all the exciting updates! How odd is that?!
