Sisterhood vs Livelihood

A girlfriend of mine sent me one of those PowerPoint presentions that ponder or praise aspects of our life. This one was about the advice of keeping your sisters or your sister-like friends close. I don't have a sister but I have an army of friends who are like sisters. Sisterhood is a huge part of my livelihood. I could not imagine a life without them. I talk to them on a day to day basis I talk when they have problems. I listen to them when I need their input. My wisdom grows upon their wisdom as well as their stupidity. And the same applies the other way around. That's why even at Sienna's tender age, I started nurturing a sense of sisterhood in her. It's all possible without a sister. Just look at how Sienna and Rachel do things together and duet together.
