Time for a Loose Tooth

I took Sienna for her 6-year-old check-up. I skipped 4th and 5th year because we didn’t have the time or we didn’t any concern. We must go this time because she was missing shots. So the doctor sat on one side with a needle. His assistant sat on the other side holding another needle. Sienna was calm and smiling. The doctor asked her to count numbers while each of them shot at the same time. Sienna just kept counting numbers. She didn’t even give a whine. It was awesome! Meanwhile, as if we couldn't find a scale and a measuring tape, we got Sienna's weight and height at the doctors. She is 46" and 44lb, both on 50% percentile.

I took her out for lunch and sent her back to school. Just before we came out, she pointed out that she had a loose tooth. "This time it is for real, Mommy." She has been talking about having a loose tooth for a few months now. They all turned out to be false alarms. A loose tooth to her is a symbol of growing up. She was so looking forward to it. Now it came so timely.
