One Trick Upon the Other

It often happens that Sienna falls asleep in the car on her way home. We then as her parents would manage to carry her upstairs and put her to bed. Later on we found out, on more than one occasion, that she was only pretending to sleep so that she could enjoy the human carriage and skip her bed time routine.

She had a play date with Olivia tonight. Over the entire 5-minutes, silience befell in between us. When I pulled into the garage, she had her eyes closed already. So I came in the door and carried on my things. When I went back to the garage to peek, Sienna was looking out the car window realizing her trick had just failed… We both laughed so hard.
