Looking for Mr Kim
I lost contact with the gardener who worked for us for the past 4 years. The phone number on the invoice is no longer in use. I don’t believe the hard working Mr Kim would drop his business without a notice. And I was pressed by the situation. Looking from the front of our house, the lawn looks like a hippie standing next to our clean-cut neighbor’s. I tried to stop other people’s lawn guys. One guy at work across the street rejected me because of his busy schedule. Another guy looks like a homeless person. I asked his phone number and was reluctant to call him back.
Sometime in the afternoon, the green/yellow dressed Mr Weed Man showed up. It was a pleasant surprise. Yet I didn’t understand after a whole season’s of care, our yard is still a pool of dandelions… Finally I found from 411.ca Mr Kim’s home phone number. It turned out that his brother has just changed his phone number a couple of days ago. He is the one who does our job. So this morning, while I was phoning his brother new phone number, younger Mr Kim showed up riding on a lawn mower. What a relief! I was expecting city people's warning call already.

if a neighbor finds your site unsightful, he could call the city to complain. The city will in turn call you. that's how we keep the city of toronto nice and clean.
