Feeling Special

Three of us went on this trip with a suitcase plus a carry-on and we came back with just as little luggage. We made it as simple as it could be. It was pretty smooth trip coming home. Unlike previous flights, Sienna actually slept for a stretch of a couple of hours a time. When the airplane touched down, the flight attendant announced that the pilot just made his last flight of his life time. He is going into his retirement. We felt so special to be part of this event. Getting off the plane, it was a long walk ahead to get our luggage. Right there, a carriage was standing by. The lady asked if we wanted a ride. So the whole family hopped on… We were feeling special again.
