Afternoon Breeze
We went to bed after 12 midnight and woke up with 4 missed calls and messages regarding Sienna’s playdates. She went with H & C brother and sister team after I fed her early lunch. Their parents took the three kids to iKea. Sienna got this beautiful balloon butterfly.
Around 2:30pm, I picked her up and join T and her mom at a community pool. I was getting my umbrella and beach chair ready for the scorching afternoon of torture. It turned out my sense of motherly sacrifice was unnecessary: one side of the pool and deck were in the shades. The weather is not too hot not cold. What a breeze to see the kids play while we chitchat the summer afternoon breeze! Then we went to a family restaurant nearby to proceed with our supper duties. Sienna had her pasta with cooked broccolis. I ordered a whole rack of spear ribs with Jack Daniel included BBQ source. I ate half and I took the other half home for the husband wife’s duty also accomplished. All in all it was a good day over a long weekend.
