A Good Deal Indeed

The party continued. We went to a sushi restaurant for brunch after a little stroll on the lake side. Then we bumped into Toy ‘r Us. Sienna wanted a Barbie doll. At home, I will have to dump about 50 similar dolls within a matter of a less than a month before we head to China. I would be so insane to spend $30 on another doll just to put the smile on her face for the next half an hour. I suggested that she get something that we could take with us on the airplane. And I pointed specifically to the Nintendo DS. With the appeal of its coral pink color and encouragement of Rachel, Sienna still made an effort of compromising to accept the deal. So each of the girls got one Nintendo, Rachel’s got black and Sienna got pink. All the way to Niagara Falls to meet someone for a drink and all the way back town, it was all quiet in the back seat. Certainly a good deal for us too.
