On the Way of Being Forced Out

The contract to lease the house was finalized yesterday. A president of a foreign bank and his family are going to take occupancy of our house. We got to pick between two families to be our tenants. I am in a happy mood despite the general feeling of having to leave. I’d never expect anybody would rent our house and was searching for soomeone to house-sit while we are gone. This is awsome. It's like being paid for an extended holiday. The best part of it. I have reason to believe that our tenant, the banker's wife, would take better care of the house than myself.

This means now that we better move out of here, or there will be legal actions against us. That’s how I cope with my inert to move. I create outer force to help move my arse.

Right now, the house is still in the state of most orderly daily-to-daily living. I spent the morning talking to a friend over coffee about her marital problems. In the afternoon, I made an effort to prove that I could actually move when forced. I wanted to call in the workers to rip off the carpet in a small bedroom downstairs, one of the obligations on the contract before we hand over the house key. I ended up single-handedly completing the job myself. As the other family who came to look at the house discovered underneath the carpet, it is covered with tiles like the rest of the floor downstairs. Now the whole house is carpet free.

So will follow all the other jobs that needed to be done in the next month and half!
