Not Quite in Place Yet

I took Sienna to a birthday party for one of her classmates. It took place in an indoor playground. In Canada, places like this are mostly prime colors. Here it's so light and bright, like a nursery. And it's set in an upscale shopping plaza that's oddly named in English "the Place".

It feels so weird to be thrown back to your old environment and to find the place so completely new and strange. I miss Toronto. Everybody can find a place there. I already found other three kids who returned from Canada. I don't know how to hook up with them yet. For me the best way to fit in sometimes is to stay away. I don't feel quite in place yet.



P.S. When we came out of the party, it was getting dark. The ceiling of this otherwise an open area turned into a huge screen showing a under water world. The place is weird!
