Out to Complain
We signed up with the building's management for an organized outing in the suburb. Not something that we were excited about, but something we should do to feel normal. So we went, taking along our friend's 9-year-old son.
Why would we be impressed by the tiny running streams they called "waterfalls" when we lived by the Niagara Falls? The food was terrible. And the washrooms there are not just as bad, they are a lot worse. The point is that we made it out and back. The kids seemed to have fun even though they didn't want to walk the trail. They did get the boat right for 15 minutes.
We came back from the west side and rushed to have a dinner at our friend's house on the east side. Sienna, on the other hand, excused herself. She stayed at our neighbour's house.
