Hardware Advantage
We had two plans when we tried to place Sienna in a school. Plan A got carried out like a miracle. She started at a prestigious Chinese school with an international environment. Before that, we rented an apartment next to an international school just in case we had to go for Plan B.
We are happy that she didn’t have to go for Plan B, the international school that teaches in English, not our first choice to come all the way over from Canada.
But I must say though, this international school has the best state of art facilities that can beat a lot of private schools in Canada. Now because we live so close by and Sienna has friends in the building who go to the school, we are taking advantage of its hardware. Thanks to our neighbors downstairs who led us the way, we had a fun-loaded weekend at the school.
Doing crafts at their school’s outdoor festival in the scorching heat of 34c:
At least we could grab some beer right from the corner store:
They spent at least 2 hours in the pool:
I felt like taking a sauna with my clothes on, but it was worth their fun:
