House Hunting Ended in a Mage House

We go with the flow. Today, maybe the wind in Beijing blows certain way that we decided to check out some “box houses” around the same compound. Nothing we particularly heart. What we really want is a unit or two that have not been decorated. We don’t want finished painting. We want a blank canvas to paint on.

While in the mood, at the end of the day, we went to check out how one of the husband classmates lives. It was mega! They joined 2 box houses (2-level penthouses) for a total area of over 10,000 square feet, half of them with a ceiling as high as 10. No mistake on the number of “0” here. They are living large. I am happy for them. Not that I would want to have a life style of having to travel half a while to get a glass of water around my own house.
