Lala in the Lala Land

We promised Sienna that we would one day take her to a city in Italy called “Siena.” There we can see the true color of Sienna. When she was about 5 years old, she requested that her name be changed to “Lala”. The equivalence of Lala Land in the real world got to be Disneyland. I have been thinking of taking her there since. And I kind of felt guilty that the husband and I visited the Orlando site in our pre-Sienna years initiated by our friends. I never gathered enough determination to take Sienna there.

Today I certainly made it up for her. We spent a full day in Hong Kong’s Disneyland. She saw the High School Musical live show and the Mickey Mouse parade. My friend’s Pilipino nanny and her daughter kept her company for all the dare-devil rides. We stayed until the fireworks completed. The husband was exempted of the visit. He spent the day with his friend touring the city. Both he and I understand what a big favor that I did for him by keeping him out of the Lala Land.
