happy news on the school front

so, the good news on the school front. news that shows itself instead being told:

sienna is not just happy at this new school. she is so much happier than before. she was happy before, so we didn't know she could be this happier. when she comes home she is more relaxed and is not sleepy as before. she talks and makes fun of things. i still cannot be confirmed if she takes a nap or not. what do they do at school? what do they eat? do they wipe for her when she goes to the washroom? how many kids in the class? what are their names? how old are they?

i'd like to have these and more answered. but it doesn't really matter. what's fitting here is the saying, "as long as she is happy... ..." the environment got to make a difference. when asked, sienna definitely pick ms ahmed at the new school over mrs angie at the old school.

mrs angie before was the one who made sienna finish over 20 weekly workbooks. she was proud of being able to make sienna do what she wanted her to do. i never forgot the scene, when sienna was just over 3 years old, at a teacher/parent conference, mrs angie grabbed sienna to her side and pointed to any three-letter words on a book. sienna would pronounce the word. amazing! i never even attempted to teach her anything before, certainly not afterwards either.

now i am looking forward to news being told by the teacher at the new school. the reason to move her here was a progmatic one: to get her closer to our house. but we have all the more reasons to be happy to see her blossoming and so happy.
