a matter of attitude

as a clumsy mama, i got this from sienna one day when i was helping her out in her bathroom. "oh, mommy, you stepped on my toes. that's all right. don't do it again next time, ok?"

wow, isn't this the kind of attitude one would try to acquire, i mean, in life, in general? when somebody hurts you, you should be able to tell the person just that, you tell him that you are willing to forgive and you wish he will not do it again.

simple, simple. but how many of us could still do it to carry out the honesty, diplomacy and decency? it's good to be reminded of the basics, especially in such a pleasant way.
