always a reason to be happy
this is the reason why i can be happy even there aren't many reasons for me to be happy.
abby and i met at "greenjeans", a bar and grill restaurant. the food came surprisingly fast. while chewing down a big portion of atlantic salmon salad, we tried to figure out who around us would be who in the "sex and city." she can be carrie, or maybe charlotte -- i am debating. i don't mind being carrie except i find no base for her to feel guilty sleeping with her ex-boyfriend after he became another gilr's husband. not that i would do it. all i am saying is that, if i ever do, i won't feel guilty. the guilt complex doesn't work much with me. Just because something is wrong is not good enough a reason for me not to do it. there got to be other reasons. not wanting to be caught, for example, would be a good one to stop me. Is that guilt?
we were commenting on some digitally-manipulated images on the wall that look like magritte's works. Abby bet money on the fact that none of the pretty waitresses there would know who magritte was. "so what? i don't know many things they know," i said. we were just joking around and said "goodbye" at a indigo's next door.
What do you think? your friend battles the pre-holiday and friday traffic to rescue you for a lunch from your corporate cubicle. isn't that enough to put anyone in a happy mood?
