Going to the Dentist

Sienna went for her dental appointment last September. Before that, she already had a lot of warming up. Some of her friends of same age already went and one of them had 4 fillings! Another one had 8! We constantly talked about how candies are not good for teeth. We also read books like "Chippy goes to the Dentist" or a similar going to the dentist book in Berenstain Bear series. Meanwhile, Daddy took
Sienna to one of his dental appiontment. And the dentist Dr. B has been our friend for over 10 years. Sienna saw him and his family visit our house and we visited theirs. Dr. B is the harmless Uncle B. So she was in fact looking forward to her appointment...

We went to Pedi dentist Dr. E's office. They are very professional in dealing with kids. She got a clean bill on her teeth, a clean-up by a hygienist and a number of presents for being a good first-time patient. Also the message she received there was loud and clear about saying "no" to candies and "yes" to brushing her teeth. She still has candies from time to time, but I believe she's got a very good moral base about sweet things in life.
