Blog is for Bragging

Mindy called in the evening asking information about Chinese minorities (or subcultures). It's for Marshal's school project. This is one of those signs that China is really getting noticed, even for Grade 3 students in Canada.

I got Sienna on the phone to thank Mindy for all the hand-me-down books, barbies and puzzles. She asked about how Sienna is doing, of course. I told her a couple of cute episodes that I just couldn't resist telling. I told her how Sienna was on her 4th storybook for reading. And I told her how Sienna was writing cursives and started to string the letters together like the word "cat."

Then I warned her, "Mindy, you don't get me started on her. I won't stop." She said, "It's a mother's job to brag." I said, "But I am one big bragger. I even have a blog site for bragging." "A blog site?" asked she. "Yes, it's just for bragging about Sienna... " Well, at least that is my definition...
