Sienna's Logic

"Our kitchen was a mess." At least that was what my daughter pointed out to me. She was setting up a huge formal birthday party with table clothes, a flower center piece and a whole set of dishes. Everything else that she didn't need for the party was on the floor and on the bay window ledge.

Sienna: "Mommy, we need to clean up. We both clean up."
Mommy: "Sienna, you messed up, you clean up."
Sienna: "But, I will get tired very soon, Mommy."
Mommy: "What about me? I will get tired too."
Sienna: "That's why I said BOTH, we BOTH do it. We do it together, ok, Mommy?"

I used to worry, just a bit, that she wasn't talking!
