My Favorite Girl

We went to pick up Rachel for a Friday-night sleepover. She was taking her Tae Kwon Do exam at a place near our house. She got her solid Yellow belt.

This is one of the many after-school activates Rachel is involved in: Two nights for Tae Kwon Do, Tuesday and Friday. Monday is for violin. Saturday is for music theory. Sunday is the ballet class. And She practices piano every day, moving beyond level 5. I might have missed a couple of things like roller blade and skating. Oh, I also need to mention Jazz and choir routines that she does at school... ...

10-year-old and multi-talented Rachel attends a well-known art school that offers regular curriculum with a series of enriched art programs. While she is so busy into so many things, I usually find her home watching TV and playing video games at home. So in order to find something else for her to do, I got her a sewing machine as a Christmas present. She makes herself available to be my 3-year-old daughter, Sienna's friend. Sienna adores her like an idol. "See, I can do it like Rachel" -- Sienna's way to describe her new skills.

One day, I called my favourite girl...

Me: What're you doing?
Rachel: I'm reading.
Me: Oh, not watching TV as you usually do?

Another day, I called...
Me: What're you doing?
Rachel: I am writing.
Me: Wow, you are moving fast. What are you writing?
Rachel: Shriek 3

The world will have to watch out for this girl if it doesn't manage to stop her...
