I so Want to be a Juror

Michael Jackson's trial is going through it's jury selection process. Some 750 prospective jurous reporting for duty. One of my colleagues was teasing me, "Hey, they need someone from Canada to be in the jury, you know?" My other colleague sitting across the hall was a juror a couple of years ago. I was green with envy. Somebody at the baby center "mother board" got called for jury duty recently. I so want to be on jury duty.

Detective is one of my career options to consider -- only I can't see the blood and am afraid of any imminent danger. I have always been a "trial watcher". I want to see through the facts and get to the motivation & core of the matter... I have extremely high tolerance of boredom. house arrest is not a punishment for me. so I can sit through a trial with no complaint -- not matter how prolonged it's gonna to be... still I haven't convinced the system to take me on for a chance to serve my civic duty. Last year I did get called to fill out a preliminary questionnaire. I was so thrilled. but that was it...
