Little Room For Improvement
We got another report card from Sienna's school. It itemizes what they taught in each of the curriculum area. These are some general comments about her personality and social skill etc.
"Sienna is sensitive to the environment and encourages other to be more aware of their actions."
"She has a lot of energy that she demonstrated in every class. She takes part in all activities with an upbeat attitude."
"Sienna is a very capable, conscientious student and an enthusiastic learner who enjoys every aspect of the Montessori curriculum. She enjoys new pieces of work and will often repeat the exercises until she has mastered them. Sienna is very precise and orderly while handling the materials and is a keen student with a great thirst for knowledge. She seeks out the teacher often to express her thoughts, ideas and feels. She is very proud of her many fine accomplishments and loves to share her success. Sienna is very well liked by her classmates and it is our great pleasure to guide her positive growth this school year."
Being a Chinese mother, I read between the lines for any room for improvement. Well, I guess there isn't much. I just need to be proud of my little girl.
Like this castle Sienna built with one hand - very little room for improvement.

hi, mrs T, my thinking is, when we put perfection out of the way, everything can be just perfect.
