New Year's Day Rundown
Sienna and I spent a great deal of time at home by the bay window. It was drizzling a little bit. The front lawns are a mix green and gray without any snow pile-ups. I was mesmerized by the sight, assuming the spring is well on it's way. In the afternoon, I drove Sienna all the way out to get her a helium balloon, her fancy of the day. Among hundreds of choices, she picked a creamy colored ballon with letterings on it, It says "just married." She didn't mind that and she had to get this one. Next to this one-dollar store is a supermarket where I got all the breakfast supplies for the week: bacon, havarti cheese, ham, wheat wheat pita, eggs. Geez, I forgot milk...
Julie suggested that the two families go for dinner together. We wanted them to come up to midtown. She wants us to go downtown. We were reluctant, especially Sienna. She has been rejecting restaurant dinning for the past month or two. At the end, we did drive down and it turned to be fun with the seafood feast and people around us.
On our way home, right before we turned into the side street, Sienna sreamed, "don't forget milk again!" Not only she remembered, she remembered it right on time. We are the man and the woman of the house; Sienna is the leader for both of us. And here is a shot of our leader being a tireless writer after she was tired of the partying.
