A Very Young Hand

Cards have become Sienna's new obsession. Over dinner parties, she would hold the cards in her hand all the time and ask anyone to play with her. At night, she puts a pink elastic band around the deck and place it underneath her pillow.

She learnt how to play from Daddy. There are mostly two ways they play. For one, both party throw a card out at the same time, if it's a J, Q, or K, you have to touch certain part of your body right away, say, left eye, right ear or hair or something that have been pre-determined. You drop cards when you are the one faster to react. And you win when you have an empty hand.

For the other way of playing, each party places a random card on the table, the one who has a bigger value gets to take the card from the other party. The one who ends up empty-handed would be the loser.

Sienna is fascinated with card games. She giggles all the time. She is happy whether she wins or she loses as long as she can keep on playing.

Here, she shouts, empty-handedly, "I won!"
