My Special Skill

I spilled my coffee, once again, of course. My colleague later S asked me, "did you get another cup?" This is what I had to say in reply:

No. I didn't spill the whole thing. I've become very skillful at spilling coffee, you know. I make sure I get a large every day just in case of spilling incident like this. I make sure that I got some left in the cup so that I don't get completely disappointed at myself. I make sure that it only goes on the desk, not on the keyboard, which is very difficult to clean. I make sure that I spill it when I have like-color clothes on, like today. This way, I don't embarrass myself with a big stain for the rest of the day...

Talk about human interaction. You have to somehow find a way to interact with your own self. This is one of the ways I deal with my own clumsiness. I think I am a lovely person with some obvious flaws, like most human beings.
