Calling In A Roofer

I called the first guy on the newspaper I grabbed.
Me: Can you come and check on our roof today?
Roofer A: Sorry, not today. It's raining.
Me: Oh, really. I didn't know it's raining, not at this part of the town, just cloudy.
Roofer A: Yea, it's raining.
Me: What about tomorrow?
Roofer A: No, I am also busy tomorrow.
Me: What about sometime in the next few days?
Roofer A: I am very busy lately. I have alot of return customers and referrals.
... ...
So I called the second guy on the list.
Me: Hi, it's raining outside. Do you go on the roof today?
Roofer B: Of course. That's when people start calling me.
I don't know why. If I had a choice, I probably would have used Roofer A. Anyways, Roofer B came in the afternoon and got it fixed. If more leak occurs, he will be back for free. According to him, our roof will have at least another 8 years to live. That was quite an accurate estimate as we knew the time when this one was replaced. Hopely no roofer calling in the next 8 years.
One question still lingers in my mind: Do roofers go on a roof or not, on a rainy day?
