To Make It More Interesting

Life would be boring if you have miracles day after day. You need to have some setbacks to make it more interesting. That's how today's drama all came down to.

After I ordered a few extra pieces of furniture for Sienna's room, the words came that the landload wanted to have more money. As it turned out the agent whom I stopped working with ran into the landload and commented how cheap he had his place rented out. An example of how raw the humanity is here in China when it comes to business.

I went to see more apartments. In my mind, we wanted the apartment a few floor's above our friends' unit. After some going back and forth, we still got it. You have to bargain when you have a room to do that even it doesn't matter much to you. It was a matter of CND$1,000 more in a year. When Sienna knew something went wrong, she asked why. After some explanation, she was like, "Mommy, do you want the place? If you want the place, you just give him the money he wants." So much to the point. At the end, she thought we got the place because we listened to her.
