Miracle about School

I can afford to be lazy and to do nothing about something until I absolutely have to. I declare that I can continue to be this way because when I ever move, miracle happens. And it happened again today.

I landed in Beijing with Sienna this morning. Finally I got my head around to the gigantic school issue. The bottom line was, as the husband and I discussed, we would send her to the international school around the street corner if we could not find her a suitable Chinese private school. She could continute to use English as her educational language. It would not be the end of the world. She is already in China and she will have plenty of time learning Chinese. 20 grands US for the international school? Let’s pay it.

I grabbed a taxi to test out how far away that dream Chinese school that rejected us earlier was. I met with a friend’s friend whose kid goes to the same school. There was no point of making official phone calls. She could maybe talk to the teacher who used to teach her kid. Around the corner, we ran into her friend, another kid’s parent. She decided that I should go straight to see the person in charge. I showed the lady a snapshot of Sienna and some paper frogs that she made. I said, “this kid will not give you trouble.” She approved it. Halleluiah!
