Shopping Breeze

We are still very much jet-lagged. Sienna sleeps from 5pm to 2 to 3pm. I sleep from 8pm to the same time. That should not stop us from enjoying our time. Sienna is getting spoiled by the grandma and grandpa. I have been spoiling myself, getting a hair wash and a foot massage. Today, I met up with my girlfriend to go shopping. Basically, I have to shop for a whole brand new home since we emptied the old one tens of thousand miles away.

To me, it will never amount to any shopping spree. I don’t fall in love with things that I cannot afford and/or that I don’t need. Majority of things don’t appeal to me anyways. Only the number of appealing things in China has greatly increased. Price wise, I am either thrilled to have an unbelievable bargain or wowed by the unreasonable high price. For example, I got an all cotton taupe/beige strip king size duvet cover & bed sheet set for CDN$40. Yet a Wacoal “super fit” cost me over CDN$50, a matching undie over $20, well exceeding anything in La Senza. I also got a few Red Earth cosmetic items and a black/grey pin stripe blouse. Looks like shopping is going to be one of the important pastimes for me now.
