Piano Appointment

I booked Sienna for an hour with the piano teacher who helped Sienna practice her piano when we visited in April. Sienna showed her the two recital pieces. The teacher corrected her some finger positioning. The temperature was high. The mosquitoes were attacking. Sienna was still under the influence of jet lag around that hour of the day. The point was to remind her there was a thing of piano in her life. The teacher was so impressed with Sienna’s progress since last time. She particularly had nice things to say about her sense of music. I knew she would say these things. I just wanted Sienna to hear it from another person, especially a piano teacher. In my book, it’s called positive feeding. On our way back, I asked Sienna if she understood what the teacher said. “I have talent in music,” said she. She got it.
