Miracle, Yet another One

I didn’t just stop at tackling the school thing. I moved on to look for an apartment to rent. The project started yesterday afternoon. I looked at 3 units. My mind started working rapidly. In China, different agents or real estate companies hold different resources. I said to the guy who showed me, “I am sorry, I have to look through other agent.” And the real estate agent next door to them found a 4-bedroom identical unit right above our friend’s unit.

By the end of the day yesterday, we knew we would get it. Just a matter of how much we pay. I was ready for a bargain for the fun of it. This morning, the husband was led to the unit. We knocked the price down considerably. We decided to stay nearby to our friends because the husband needs to talk to this friend on a daily basis on a project for the time being. We just didn’t expect it to be so near. There was also drama because another agent whom our friend knew tried to get the apartment for us.

Another major difference in China, you could actually try to sell your places through different agents. I am learning all these like a foreigner.

Ok, we are still living on suitcases, only till next Monday.
