People From Toronto & The Rest of the World

I imagined after we moved back from Canada to live in China, people from Canada and from all over China would be lining up to come and visit us in Beijing. That’s exactly how it has been played out. We are still making an effort not to tell the rest of the world that we are here. Talk about the people magnet, uh! Today, we had already the fifth round of visitor since we arrived. A family of five came from Toronto for a 3-week tour around China. A friend of ours sent them over to us. They stopped by Beijing and came to visit us in the afternoon. We will have a visitor from Dallas in mid January. And in March, a visit of a century by our dear friends, a mother-daughter team. Hey, we still have February open, for now.

Anyways, we treated the family to a very nice restaurant nearby and had great fun. The kids fell asleep one after another at the end of the dinner even each of them was saying something like "I am waking up now." Jet lag can be very cute.
