Another Happy Ride, a Miracle
I praised a taxi driver for his happy demeanor last week. Here is another compliment that needs to go to peer of his.
The husband donated another painting as part of the effort to rebuild a new school in the earth-quake stricken area and he left that very painting in a trunk of a taxi. Having no way to search for the taxi, we left it with the good faith of the driver. An hour and half later, the taxi driver came back to the restaurant where he drove off us and returned the painting. The husband and his friend were talking about paintings on the ride, the driver must have gotten a hint about the painting’s value. We were so moved. We almost had to force him to accept the rewards we gave him. I took a shot of the license plate. This morning, I searched his company, called and praised him today.
